Very small correction

Go is in theory 6 o’clock tonight. However, if hair and make up need just a tad longer, go maybe 630. But no later this evening. If you’re used to a musical, this is around the standard starting time, once musicians are in place, for one of those shows.

You guys are just terrific. Just a reminder… we are going to aim for a GO!! time no later than what we have on the musical. No later than six. That may go past eight as we get the running time down, so just be prepared.

If any families wish to contact me, please do so at 865–748–3636. You are always welcomed to watch dress rehearsals!

The end times!

We had an unexpected challenge this evening that slowed us down a tad. We started running act to a little while ago, and we will dismiss when it is finished. Thank you!

In general, we are aiming to have a go time for dress rehearsals no later than 530. That should get us out, ideally, around 730. Remember, families are always welcomed to watch any part of rehearsals.

We have been working very hard today. Our goal is to be dismissing in about an hour. Around 635.

Now C here… and one more piece of helpful schedule news.

1000-2000mg is plenty; it actually maxes out at 2000mg/day under very occasional circumstances where you think you may need that much.

So that my critical thinking creds remain legit….

On three occasions, I have felt something coming on. Each time, I took a strong dose of C. Each time, the symptoms vanished with amazing speed.

I have no evidence that the C caused the symptoms to abate. Correlation is not causality. It was just a helpful coincidence.

Be safe. Wash hands. Cough into the crooks of your sleeves, away from others. Don’t leave open drink cans out. Listen to your mother!

PS — If a family scheduled the day based on the earlier actor call, you’re welcome to come by and start helping the crew or just enjoy the theater early if you want. I’ll be here by ten.

High Noon!

I was slightly mistaken yesterday…. Actor call for tech is noon.

Thank you!

It sure would be swell if we could rehearse tomorrow, Friday. If you have other plans, then you have other plans. But if you can be there, it will help us a lot.

This week

I would like to attempt a run of the show every day for the rehearsals this week. Tomorrow may certainly be with book in hand. After that, we will have staff on the book until Tech. If we do not finish a run by the end of a rehearsal, we will pick up at that point the next day, finish, and then begin with the play once more. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you!
