Here is the final calendar for the run of the show. Please look over the schedule and plan accordingly. Starting this week, everyone should be at all practices as we start to put the show together. If you have to miss a rehearsal, please communicate that with Ms. Johnson and Mr. McCray.
We have today off. Mr. Ewing is unable to be here, and tomorrow you’ll be doing some recording of music for rehearsal purposes. Comedy tonight I think is one of them.
This may not apply to you, and…
If you find Snapple in the fridge in the drama lab, please know that those drinks have not been placed there for the cast and crew. I bought them with my own money to drink during the day.
If you mistakenly had a bottle, that’s fine. It was an accident. Just please replace it.
Hello! On the 9th, we’ll need the full cast at rehearsal. We’re finishing blocking, and measurements need to be taken for certain costumes. Thank you!
We are also looking for anyone who might want to take a crack at the poster.
If you enjoy art and digital imaging, you may have a burning desire to help create the poster that will hang in homes and hallways for decades to come.
Interested? Have skill/experience with Photoshop or Pixelmator? Let me (Mr. McCray) know before the long weekend starts!
Things on the show are going well! One place where we could use parental/adult help is in the area of props. We can pull a number of them from stock, but an adult or two to help beyond that would be terrific. And it’s a lot of fun! (No, really!)
If you have an interest in any kind of arts or crafts….
If you have the time and ability to run to Joann’s or Target once or twice…
If you enjoy the safari of Internet shopping (and sending the links)…
If you have a golden heart…
This might be right for you. We pay for/reimburse everything. Please contact me if you have an interest at email@example.com.
And thank you!
One small misunderstanding that’s understandable. In my post of 8/27, I said that we’d be blocking “Dirty Old Man” – end. Apple Mail has been marking posts to me as spam, so I have not seen them lately. I was unaware that a posting went out about September.
That calendar is accurate, except that we are still blocking “Dirty Old Man” – end of show today.
We’ll pick up reviewing blocking for Act 2 on 9/9.
