Optional… Parent Meeting on September 5

Hello! Rehearsals are well underway, and the actors are doing some very fine work. As always, rehearsals are open for any parents who would like to stop in and see.

At 6 PM on September 5 in the alumni room of the central building, we will be having an optional, parent orientation meeting. This is a great opportunity to meet the staff, find out about the upcoming schedule, discover what will be involved in the production of the show, and learn about new opportunities to volunteer should the time and availability present themselves.

If that time doesn’t work for you, we understand. Just drop me an email (charltonx@me.com) and I will hook you up with our parent coordinator. Thank you!

Cleaning the Booth

Hopefully, this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from around 4-6 Michelle Rukeyser and I are going to be working on organizing the booth. We’re going to need about three actors each one of those days to assist. We’d appreciate volunteers; otherwise, we’re going to end up recruiting people.

About tomorrow (Tuesday the 27th)

Remember, we’ll be in the Chorus room. Everyone is called, bring your iPads!

Monday 8/26 as called

I left off the 8/26 rehearsal from the most recent schedule; I was so focused on September I guess. But the call is the same as it has always been:

M/26 4.0-6.0 Neville, Rosa, Helena, Drood, Crisparkle, Jasper, Bazzard- No Good Can Come from Bad

Thanks and sorry for the confusion….

Choreography Schedule Updates for September

Here is my schedule for calls in September. The rest of the Artistic Staff may schedule a call for you that isn’t indicated here; these are just my calls. Notice that I am planning on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays for most of the month (but NOT Labor Day weekend). If you think you should be called for a number and I haven’t listed you, or vice versa, please contact me. You can use our home email baewing@att.net, sometimes I’m not really good at navigating fancy technology, like blogs. Also notice that most calls now are for teaching smaller numbers or RFF for bigger numbers, so try to keep track of which numbers you are in.  We have an excellent head start on the big group numbers. You are all working really well; by the end of September, the choreography is mostly done. I especially thankful for your focus during rehearsal times.

NO rehearsal Sunday 8/25

We have decided to cut/ minimize Jasper’s Ballet/Vision. So you may all have a day off. Also, I didn’t realize I had scheduled a rehearsal for Labor Day weekend on 9/1. Cut that one too… we all need our vacations. Thanks- Mr. Ewing

Next Tuesday.

Next Tuesday (the 27th, I believe) will be a run through day. Bring your iPad.
