Thunderbirds Are Go!
Just wanted to check in and tell you how proud I am of the methods and habits that you’re applying to achieve such remarkable results. Keep using those same tools! You should be proud; I know I am.
This week!
We’re going to aim for a “go” at 5:30. The facial hair arrived today, so that may slow things down a bit, but we’ll still aim to get started around then. We also need to give some notes from last week and test a few small additions.
There are four acts, and they each run between 22-40 minutes. Please visit! And if you arrive early, no need to wait in the car. Please, come in and watch. Thank you!
What I imagine…
As ever, tech Saturday is a maddeningly difficult day to predict. This is complicated a bit because we are taking tomorrow off, which, given the general demands of the show, is a good idea. If this were a regular show, with a regular schedule, I could abbreviate today into a rehearsal that would just have us going from light and sound cue to light and sound cue. Yes, we need to do that, but we also need to get in a regular dress rehearsal as well.
I would very much like to be done by about 5 PM, and I think this is extremely optimistic; I think it will probably go a tad later. One way or the other, I will do everything I can to keep you updated with our progress as we go.
Thank you!
